i.d.o aims at promoting the sharing of expertise and skills, and intends to be a privileged place for interdisciplinary collaborations. Its team is open and diverse, and adapts its configuration according to the specificities of each project.
Amandine Chhor
designer & FOUNDER of i.d.o
After graduating in industrial design from ENSCI-Les Ateliers, Amandine created i.d.o association in 2009, to develop collaborative projects in developing countries, and co-founded in parallel the design studio AC/AL with Aïssa Logerot. Deeply interested in the human and cultural aspects of each project, she considers her work as the way to create links between people, expertises and places, through crafts, low-tech and traditional skills. DESIGNER & CABINET MAKER
Aïssa first graduated in cabinet making from École Boulle before studying industrial design at ENSCI-Les Ateliers. With a strong appeal in cabinet making, he co-founded the design studio AC/AL with Amandine Chhor, in which the pair conceives functional projects that outline precise and long lasting simplicity. Maxime Grison
HMONP Architect & CABinet maker
Maxime graduated in cabinet making from École Boulle in 2005 and Paris La Villette Architecture School in 2008. Working as a freelance architect, he joined i.d.o in 2019 to help and advice on architectural projects. Focused on human needs and their interactions with different environments, he has a multi-skilled background and professional experiences in the private sector. More information
Laure Garreau
designer & researcher
Graduated from ENSCI-Les Ateliers, Laure also holds a Master 2 in Design Research (ENS-Paris-Saclay - ENSCI-Les Ateliers - Télécom ParisTech). She currently works as a designer in the High Technology sector, and is an associate member of the Design Research Center (CRD) of the École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay and of the ENSCI-Les Ateliers.

Sarngsan Na Soontorn is an explorer who understands the strength of cross-cultural creativity. After studying architecture at Chiang Mai University, he continued in industrial design at ENSCI-Les Ateliers, before founding his own studio in 2012. A multi-skilled designer, he helps i.d.o with his global experience and subtle vision through which he keeps balancing the essence of work. More information
Cesar Jung-Harada
Researcher
Cesar is a half French - half Japanese environmentalist, educator and entrepreneur with an interactive design background from the Royal College of Art. He is interested in experimenting with nature, humans and technology, and is passionate about education, oceans, and inventions for sustainable development. He founded and manages Maker Bay, a Hong Kong based maker space, and joined i.d.o in 2020, in order to bring his scientist vision.
